Artist's Bio

Meath based artist, Rachael Smith works mainly in acrylics. Her latest works explore the fluidity of diluted acrylics and their unpredictibility on canvas while contrasting this with vibrant still life.The paintings are created by the use of several different delicate layers of diluted washes while the still life objects are painted with richness and vibrancy.
